2. I bisats (subordinate clause)

Här gäller BIFF-regeln: I Bisats står Inte Före Första verbet. Och eftersom “ungefär” är ett satsadverbial placeras det på samma plats som “inte” i bisats. And since “approximately” is a clause adverb, it is placed in the same place as “not” in the dependent clause.)

  • Eftersom både inte och ungefär är satsadverbialer varierar ordningen.
  • Den exakta ordningen kan variera stilistiskt, men detta är standard.

3. Placering i infinitivfraser: 
Även här står satsadverbial före verbet. (Here too, the adverbial clause comes before the verb.)
